1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website (www.ModernTherapies.co.uk) or purchasing products from Modern Therapies, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you disagree, please refrain from using our services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our site and services after changes constitutes acceptance.

 

 

2. Product Categories

We sell two main product types:

  • Red Light Therapy (RLT) Devices

  • Red Light Therapy & Steam Saunas. Each category has specific terms outlined below.

 

 

3. Red Light Therapy Products

3.1 Product Information

We aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our RLT products. Images and descriptions may vary slightly. All products are sold as-is.

3.2 Orders & Payment

Orders are subject to acceptance. Prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Orders must be paid in full before dispatch.

3.3 Delivery

We aim to dispatch RLT products within 1–3 business days. During busy periods, dispatch may take up to 4 business days. Tracking will be emailed once shipped.

3.4 Returns & Refunds (RLT Products)

  • 30-day trial period begins upon delivery

  • Product must be returned in its original packaging

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer

  • Refunds may be refused if product is damaged, used, or incomplete

3.5 Warranty (RLT Products)

All RLT products come with a 1-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects. Damage caused by misuse or wear and tear is not covered.

 

 

4. Red Light Therapy & Steam Sauna

4.1 Presale Orders

Some saunas are sold as presale items. If purchased during presale, delivery may take 2–3 weeks. Customers will be notified of estimated shipping dates.

4.2 Sauna Returns & Refunds

To be eligible for return:

  • Item must be unused and in new condition

  • Returned in original packaging with all parts

  • Return shipping paid by the customer

Photos may be requested to verify the condition. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Damages & Issues

  • Inspect the product on delivery

  • Report damage or missing parts within 10 days

  • Damage must affect product function (cosmetic damage is not covered)

  • Refunds/replacements only granted for manufacturer faults reported within 10 days

We reserve the right to deny refunds if a product appears forcefully damaged or abused.

4.3 Warranty (Sauna)

  • 1-year limited warranty

  • Covers structural faults, seam leaks, and electrical issues

  • Does not cover inflatables or accidental damage

  • Only one replacement per order

4.4 Missing Items

Some items may ship separately. All missing items must be reported within 10 days of delivery.

4.5 Cancellations

Orders are processed immediately. Cancellation is not guaranteed. Contact us as soon as possible to request a cancellation.

 

 

5. Product Use & Safety Disclaimer (Sauna)

Using a steam sauna and red light panel may not be suitable for everyone. By purchasing, you agree to the following:

  • Always consult a healthcare provider before use if you have medical conditions

  • Not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or during pregnancy without medical approval

  • Stay hydrated before, during, and after use

  • Do not use under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Keep out of reach of children

  • Do not exceed the recommended usage time

  • Always follow manufacturer's instructions

By using the sauna, you acknowledge full responsibility for its safe and proper use. Modern Therapies is not liable for misuse, injuries, or improper assembly.

 

 

6. Intellectual Property

Modern Therapies owns all content on our website. Do not reproduce or distribute any material without written permission.

 

 

7. Limitation of Liability

Products and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind unless stated. We are not liable for:

  • Delays in shipping

  • Third-party service interruptions

  • Accidental damage by customers

  • Incorrect use or setup of products

 

 

8. Governing Law

The laws of Scotland, England, and Wales govern these Terms.
